Class descriptions
The Agility Club of San Diego offers the following class levels:

Beginner
Beginner classes are split into Levels 1 through 5. Level 1 focuses on foundation training such as targeting and control, with some work on equipment. As students progress through the levels, they start working more on equipment and running short sequences. Students are expected to have weave poles and jumps at home to practice on.

Note: Dogs must pass an evaluation before enrolling in a beginner class.

Intermediate/Advanced
For students getting ready to compete or already competing.

Novice: For dogs not yet competing or just beginning to compete in Novice. Wires may be allowed on the weave poles.

Open: For dogs with legs toward a Novice title or competing in Open or Advanced. No wires on the weave poles.

Excellent: For dogs with legs toward an Open or Advanced title or competing in Excellent, Elite, or Masters.
